Job description

Description

Retail Store Manager - St. Paul, MNLead the floor. Drive the sales. Run the store.

Full-Time | Exempt | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | No nights, no weekends

Love the rhythm of a business that runs on a predictable schedule - but never a predictable day? We're looking for a Retail Store Manager to take the wheel of our showroom and turn steady foot traffic into serious sales.

This isn't a big-box gig. Our customers are chefs, restaurateurs, and foodservice pros outfitting their kitchens - which means every sale you close helps build someone else's business. If you know retail, love people, and want your hours to actually make sense, keep reading.

Why You'll Love This Role

A schedule you can set your watch to. Monday through Friday, 8-5. Open and close the store, then go live your life.

Sales that matter. You'll own budgeting, sales tracking, and expense control - and get to see your strategy turn into real numbers.

A front-row seat in commercial foodservice. Work with vendors, contractors, and customers who are building restaurants, grocery operations, and food businesses from the ground up.

A team that's actually yours. Hire, train, coach, and lead floor staff and warehouse personnel - this is people-leadership, not just inventory management.

What You'll Do
  • Run daily store operations - staffing, scheduling, and performance management
  • Own the numbers: budgeting, sales tracking, and expense control
  • Hire, train, and supervise store associates and warehouse staff
  • Set goals and coach your team to hit them
  • Oversee warehouse receiving and shipping alongside the Contract team
  • Keep inventory sharp and merchandising sharper
  • Build customer relationships that turn into repeat business
  • Drive marketing and promotional campaigns that bring people through the door
  • Keep the store secure, clean, and fully compliant
  • Lead weekly management meetings and participate in the EOS L10 process
What You Bring
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 2-3+ years of retail management experience - food service equipment, grocery, or wholesale background a big plus
  • Strong leadership, organization, and customer service instincts
  • Experience with budgeting, pricing, and vendor management
  • Comfort with POS systems, Microsoft Office, and ERP tools
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stay on your feet through a full retail day
Ready to Run the Show?

If you're a natural leader who thrives on sales targets, thrives on a great team, and wants a schedule that respects your evenings and weekends - we want to meet you.

Apply today and bring your retail leadership to a business built around great food, great service, and great people.
