Job description

You Are: Microsoft Power Apps Developer

The Work:

The Microsoft Power Apps Developer is responsible for designing, configuring, and developing secure, scalable applications within the Microsoft Power Platform to support federal mission needs. In this role, you will build custom solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Dataverse, working as part of a crossfunctional agile delivery team. You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to analyze requirements, refine user stories, support testing and deployment activities, and troubleshoot issues throughout the full development lifecycle. Success in this role requires deep Power Platform experience, strong application development skills, and the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive, highquality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and customize Power Apps solutions (canvas and modeldriven) to meet business and mission requirements
  • Develop automation workflows using Power Automate to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Work with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and related data sources to design scalable data structures
  • Analyze requirements, acceptance criteria, and wireframes to create effective technical designs
  • Collaborate with an agile delivery team to ensure alignment with business needs and technical standards
  • Support unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, and documentation activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and performance issues
  • Maintain clear, wellstructured documentation for customizations, integrations, and solution components
  • Ensure all work adheres to Microsoft best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements

  • Extensive handson experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Dataverse and data modeling within Power Platform
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 SharePoint Online

  • Strong analytical, communication, and problemsolving skills
