We are seeking a skilled MS Power Platform Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience developing solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining applications within the U.S. Army Financial Management Command (USAFMCOM) in Indianapolis, IN. 

The candidate will design, develop, and deploy solutions using MS Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. The candidate will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications, as well as conduct testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of apps and workflows. The candidate will maintain documentation of solutions, architecture, and processes, and ensure security, scalability, and compliance of developed solutions. 

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, conducting feasibility studies, and providing recommendations for Power Platform solutions. They will design scalable and maintainable Power Platform solutions, including developing technical specifications and architecture diagrams. Their duties will include building custom applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, automating workflows with Power Automate, creating interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, and developing chatbots with Power Virtual Agents. The candidate will conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, and will deploy solutions to production environments, ensuring successful implementation and adherence to data protection regulations. They will also provide ongoing support and maintenance for deployed solutions, troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, and implement enhancements and updates as needed. In addition, the candidate will create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed solutions and prepare user guides and training materials for end users.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Located in Indianapolis, IN area and available to work onsite M-F 
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Between 10-18 years of experience working with data, to include at least 5-7 years of experience with Sharepoint and Power Platform development (Apps, Automate, BI) and experience working with and implementing Virtual Agents
  • Experience working with and supporting DoD customers  
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Active Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment
