Must be able to work as a 1099 contractor


Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Developer to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, implement, and support enterprise solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O ecosystem. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams to build scalable applications, integrate systems, and enhance business processes using Microsoft’s modern technology stack.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex business challenges, developing high-quality solutions, and contributing throughout the entire application lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, customize, and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions using X++.
  • Develop custom modules, extensions, plugins, workflows, and integrations within D365 F&O.
  • Build and support applications using C#, .NET, JavaScript, and the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
  • Develop integrations between D365 and external business systems using Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Create and execute test plans to ensure solution quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Support application lifecycle management (ALM), source control, deployment processes, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve Dynamics 365 application issues.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for customizations, integrations, and system configurations.
  • Ensure development follows organizational standards, security requirements, and best practices.
  • Provide ongoing production support and continuous improvement for enterprise applications.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) development experience.
  • Strong experience developing in:
  • X++
  • C#
  • .NET
  • JavaScript
  • Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform:
  • Power Apps
  • Power Automate
  • Dataverse
  • Experience with Azure technologies including:
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Service Bus
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Experience developing SSRS reports.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Power BI.
  • SQL Server database design and query development.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
