Microsoft Partner Remote information

What is a Microsoft Partner Remote?

A Microsoft Partner Remote is an individual or company that collaborates with Microsoft to deliver products, solutions, or services, and operates remotely rather than on-site at a Microsoft office. These partners may specialize in areas such as cloud computing, software development, IT consulting, or technical support, and work with clients to implement Microsoft technologies. Being remote allows these partners to serve clients worldwide, leveraging Microsoft’s resources and support to provide high-quality solutions and services.

What are some common challenges Microsoft Partners face when working remotely, and how can they be addressed?

Microsoft Partners working remotely often encounter challenges such as coordinating across different time zones, maintaining effective communication with clients and team members, and staying updated on Microsoft's evolving technologies. To address these, it's helpful to establish clear communication protocols, utilize collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams, and schedule regular check-ins. Additionally, participating in Microsoft’s partner programs and training resources can help you stay informed and connected within the broader partner network.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Microsoft Partner working remotely, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Microsoft Partner in a remote setting, you need deep knowledge of Microsoft products and services, strong business acumen, and relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Power Platform. Proficiency in Microsoft Partner Center, collaboration tools like Teams, and CRM systems is essential. Excellent communication, self-motivation, and relationship-building skills help drive customer success and foster strategic partnerships. These capabilities enable effective solution delivery, client engagement, and business growth in a virtual environment.

Job description

Location Overview
Join our team in Amangiri. Blending into untouched red-rock country on over 900 acres of the Colorado Plateau, Amangiri and its satellite, Camp Sarika, reflect dual aspects of this ancient desert landscape. A serene sanctuary, Amangiri's 34 modernist suites, Aman Spa and mesa-embracing pool echo the tranquillity of the canyons. Camp Sarika, with its 10 tented pavilions, answers the region's call to adventure. An unrivalled base for exhilarating expeditions and fireside connection, the camp has its own restaurant, lounge and spa suites.

This is a remote position based in Miami, Florida, supporting Amangiri in Canyon Point, Utah. The role requires regular travel to represent the resort at industry events, partner meetings, and familiarization experiences.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive leisure sales strategy aligned with the resort's annual revenue goals.

Identify high-value leisure accounts and opportunities to expand market share.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with luxury travel advisors, consortia partners, and wholesale accounts.

Conduct sales calls, virtual trainings, webinars, and site inspections to strengthen partner engagement.

Proactively prospect new business opportunities and emerging leisure markets.

Represent the resort at trade shows, roadshows, and industry events.

Coordinate and host familiarization trips (FAM trips) for key partners.

Maintain accurate account profiles, production reports, and sales activity records.

Monitor account performance and develop strategies to exceed sales targets.

Collaborate with marketing, reservations, and operations teams to align sales initiatives with guest experience delivery.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred.

Minimum 3-5 years of luxury hotel or resort sales experience, preferably within the leisure segment.

Established relationships with luxury travel advisors and consortia partners preferred.

Strong negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.

Knowledge of GDS, online distribution platforms, and leisure travel market trends.

Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce or Delphi preferred.

Proficiency in PMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
