Summary: The Lead Receptionist trains and supports the receptionist team and performs receptionist duties
Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee front desk operations and maintain a professional, welcoming environment
  • Train and support the receptionist team
  • Answer inbound calls and direct calls to the appropriate area
  • Greet and direct visitors
  • Manage/assign email directed to receptionist facing email boxes
  • Manage/forward voicemail to the appropriate area
  • Track inbound overnight mail packages
  • Track or manage tracking for time-sensitive documents and checks
  • May perform other duties as assigned to support department goals.
  • May occasionally work extended hours based on operational needs.
Experience and Skills:
  • Experience supervising, training staff or demonstrated leadership ability
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, guest and staff
  • Multitasking: Able to handle high-volume phone lines, front desk traffic, and administrative tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent time management and the ability to maintain organized records
  • Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making skills to resolve guest or caller issues
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2-4 years in a receptionist, administrative or customer service role
  • Previous phone experience, preferably call center or queue experience
  • Previous experience as a lead or supervisor in a similar, fast-paced environment is desired
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard office equipment (printers, copiers)

Work Schedule:
This is a 100% office position requiring your physical presence Monday through Friday, with business hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Salary Range:
The salary for this position typically ranges from $24-$25/hr, depending on qualifications, experience, and other factors. Please note that the final offer may differ based on the candidate's specific qualifications, skills, and experience, as well as internal equity and business needs.
