Job description

Job Title: Data Entry amp; Microsoft Excel Specialist
Job Summary:
The Macomb Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry amp; Microsoft Excel Specialist to support daily business operations through accurate data management and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong Microsoft Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently process and maintain large volumes of information while meeting deadlines. This is a full-time, onsite position based at our office in Harleysville, PA.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter, update, and maintain customer, vendor, inventory, assist with inventory, pricing, and product information updates with a high level of accuracy.
  • Review data for errors, inconsistencies, and missing information, making corrections as needed.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and maintain spreadsheets and databases.
  • Create and maintain reports using Excel functions such as formulas, filters, sorting, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP (preferred).
  • Import and export data between Epicor P21 and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of company data.
  • Collaborate with various departments to verify information and resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree preferred and/or 1–3 years of data entry, administrative, or office support experience.
  • Strong typing skills with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working with large datasets.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Familiarity with industrial distribution, manufacturing, or inventory management is beneficial.
  • Ability to identify process improvements and increase data accuracy and efficiency.
