We are seeking a Copilot Solutions Engineer with experience supporting U.S. Federal agencies to design, deploy, and scale Microsoft Copilot and M365 AI solutions in highly regulated environments.  This role bridges technical architecture, security, and mission outcomes-partnering closely with federal stakeholders to transform productivity, decision-making, and operations through responsible AI. Experience with MS Copilot Studio, Azure Foundry and the interplay between Microsoft Copilot and the rest of the Microsoft Suite of Services and ability to develop Copilot solutions that meet mission requirements as well as end user to enterprise solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Guide federal clients through adoption of Microsoft Copilot through completion of readiness assessments and support of rollout strategies
  • Identify, design, and deploy Copilot solutions in client M365 environments
  • Translate mission and operational requirements into secure, scalable Copilot architectures across M365 including integration with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Power Platform, Entra ID and custom line-of-business systems
  • Assist to build and configure custom agents, plugins, prompts, and connectors aligned to federal use cases
  • Lead technical workshops, demos, and architecture sessions tailored to educate customers on responsible AI, data protection, and adoption best practices
  • Ensure solutions meet federal security and compliance standards  
  • Ability to present complex technical solutions to executives and end-users
  • Partner with client security teams and operations teams on data residency, access control, audit logging, and governance
  • Support Authority to Operate (ATO) processes and security documentation as required
  • Collaborate with program managers, partners, and Microsoft teams to deliver successful outcomes
  • Support user enablement, prompt engineering best practices, and success measurement for end user to enterprise solutions
Qualifications
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure Foundry, and the Power Platform, including a solid understanding of security, compliance, and data sovereignty considerations.5+ years' experience as a Solutions Engineer, Architect, or Technical Consultant with expertise in a Microsoft 365 environment
  • Working knowledge of federal security and compliance frameworks, identity, access management, and data governance
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical federal stakeholders
  • Previous experience creating end user solutions that can convert to enterprise solutions
  • Microsoft certifications (preferred but not required): M365 Enterprise Administrator; M365 security, compliance, or identity certifications; AI and/or Power Platform certifications
  • Secret or higher clearance preferred, but not required
  • Ability to work on site as needed in Washington DC
