Job description

The Department of Consumer and Business Services is implementing Power BI on premise. The department is seeking a Microsoft Certified Gold partner to provide offsite consulting services as needed for the duration of implementation. The consultant needs to be familiar with best practices, and current methods for implementing on premise SSAS, SSIS, SSRS, Report Server and Desktop, data mart/warehouse, and Power BI Report Server and Desktop. The consultant must have working knowledge of implementing the above with Oracle database and or SQL Server Database.
1) The department would like to have a consultant that can review the current architecture design and make any recommended changes for efficiencies in providing the business intelligence service within the constraints of the State of Oregon and DCBS limitation.
2) Ongoing, availability of a technical consultant that can answer specific questions on implementing a SQL data warehouse, SSAS, SSIS, data modeling, Power BI dash boarding, and DAX expressions.
