We are seeking an experienced Windows and Azure Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, and secure our hybrid IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for the seamless operation of our On-premises and Azure Windows Server environment while driving our ongoing migration and optimization within Microsoft Azure.

RESPONSIBILITIES

On-Premises Administration: Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), and DNS/DHCP, File & Print services, IIS, RDS environments

Cloud Management: Deploy, configure, and manage scalable Azure resources (VMs, Virtual Networks, Azure AD/Entra ID, and storage).

Hybrid Operations: Maintain seamless integration between on-prem infrastructure and Azure using Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Azure Arc, AD Connect, migrations)

Automation & Scripting: Streamline daily tasks and deployments using PowerShell and ARM templates.

Security & Compliance: Implement robust security patches, role-based access control (RBAC), and monitor systems for vulnerabilities using Azure Security Center. Maintain compliance with organizational and audit standards.

Monitoring & Support: Utilize monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, SCOM) to ensure high availability and resolve Tier 2/3 system issues.

Incident & Problem Management: Troubleshoot complex issues across Windows, virtualization, and cloud environments, root cause analysis and resolution for production incidents. Ensure adherence to ITIL-based service management processes

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Proven experience managing enterprise-scale environments

4+ years experience in Windows Server / Infrastructure Administration preferred.

Hands-on experience with Azure cloud and hybrid solutions

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Windows Server OS (2012-2022)

Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP

Hands-on with Microsoft Azure: VM provisioning, VNet, storage, security

Hybrid infrastructure management capabilities (On-prem + Azure)

Virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V)

Backup & DR solutions

PowerShell scripting
