As a HBM Customer Systems Validation Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will:
Responsibilities:
  • Be responsible for system-level validation, failure analysis, characterization, and experimentation of customer systems
  • Run and configure diagnostic software, build experiments, analyze and interpret data, crafting custom tools (Hardware and Software), presenting data to customers both inside and outside Micron
  • Provide technical customer integration support at customer locations. To accomplish these responsibilities, you will use an assortment of equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, multi-meters, etc.)
  • Work with customers and memory enablers like GPU manufacturers to attain build wins and qualifications of Micron memory products in their applications
  • You will work with other specialists within the HBM team, Product Engineering, FAE, Quality Assurance, and business unit teams
  • Provide technical support to customers and the field sales
  • Apply diagnostics to reproduce the original failure
  • Collaborate with Product Engineering and Return Material Authorization (RMA)
  • Provide 8D or failure documentation for customer failure resolution
  • Develop and modify hardware that controls test parameters (i.e. temperature or voltage)
  • Communicating results with multi-functional teams and customers

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (or an equivalent field) with proven ability or 2-4 years of experience respectively, both requiring a balanced hardware and software skills.
  • Comfortable working and programming with Linux, Python/C/C++, version control systems (git, svn)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication, data analytics and presentation skills
  • Basic understanding of DRAM operations and computer networking

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in bios/Linux driver development/debug
  • Understanding of system architecture and memory subsystem
  • Comfortable working with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzer, protocol analyzers, soldering equipment, etc
  • Previous experience validating products with both hardware/firmware/software components
  • Performs hardware, software, semiconductor develop or telecom engineering assignments. This job mapping should be used only if the position cannot be mapped specifically to other build/development engineering jobs

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$112,000.00 - $286,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
