Job Description Summary:
The Advanced Microelectronics Manufacturing Group Leader is a highly visible leadership role responsible for the delivery of packaged advanced microelectronics components.
You will play a critical role in bridging engineering innovation with operational execution, by leveraging the strengths of world-class equipment and personnel to deliver high quality products to our internal and external customers.
You will oversee the execution of device packaging activities across multiple facilities. You will work closely with process engineering, design engineering, and highly skilled technicians to satisfy demand while driving design for manufacturability, yield improvements, quality enhancements, cycle time reduction, and production readiness across the product lifecycle. This operations role partners closely with engineering, quality, and programs to introduce new technologies and processes into manufacturing while continuously improving existing production capabilities.
This position offers a unique opportunity to influence manufacturing strategy, develop advanced production capabilities, and help shape how complex microelectronic hardware transitions from development into reliable, repeatable production.
Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team supporting advanced microelectronics manufacturing operations.
  • Drive a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the manufacturing organization.
  • Partner closely with design engineering, new product introduction, and quality teams to improve predictability and delivery performance.
  • Lead initiatives focused on the development of capacity and yield improvement models.
  • Establish and monitor performance metrics using data-driven analysis to ensure and improve delivery.
  • Work closely with process engineering to identify and implement manufacturing process improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, and product quality.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and Program teams to ensure customer commitments and production objectives are achieved.
  • Help define and execute manufacturing strategies that accelerate product development, speed of execution, and give Draper world class fast-to-field performance.

Skills/Abilities
  • Excellent communication and written skills.
  • Excellent ability with presenting technical material to various levels of the engineering organization and customers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong ability to supervise a team of 10-20.

Education
Requires a degree in Engineering or related discipline.
Experience
7+ years of experience in the engineering; design, development, and management of complex systems.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is
$82,300.00 - $245,000.00
