Our client, a leading manufacturer of high-quality personal care products, is seeking a Microbiology Lab Technician to join their team in Montclair, CA.
Pay: $20-25/hr.
Shift: 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM start time (Start times may fluctuate)
Location: Montclair, CA
Job Type: Contract-to-hire
Job Duties:

  • Collect samples throughout the manufacturing floor
  • Prepare samples for microbiological testing
  • Accurately label specimens and distribute them to the appropriate department
  • Clean and maintain the work area, lab equipment, and supplies
  • Perform quality control duties as directed by the Laboratory Manager
  • Understand, follow, and monitor all GMP and safety requirements and procedures in the work environment
  • Support other areas of QC as needed

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or High School Diploma/GED required with 0-2 years of experience
  • Laboratory experience required
  • Knowledge of microbiology techniques
  • Ability to understand complex instructions
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
