Job Description: The inside sales representative is responsible for building relationships with customers.  The inside sales representative will provide excellent service to customers and assist with any inquiries the customers may have. The inside sales representative is responsible for sourcing new sales opportunities and maintaining and expanding our database of prospects.                                                 
Responsibilities:
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound website or phone lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
  • Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest in our company.
  • Maintain and expand database of prospects.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Expectations:
The expectations for this position include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Make a minimum of 65 telephone calls each workday.
  • Purchase components on behalf of B2 Micro Technologies and provide accurate information for processing P.O.’s for purchases.
  • Make sales to customers.
Requirements:
  • Proven inside sales experience.
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Works well with others and as a team member.
  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience preferred, the company will provide industry specific training.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Software (Excel specifically), email and phone systems.
Work Hours
  • This is a full-time Hourly position. 
  • Work hours are between 8:30-5:30 with an hour for lunch. 
  • This position is eligible for commission in addition to a base hourly wage.  

This position reports to the CEO/President. Frequent meetings will be held to make sure the company objectives are being met, that training is going well, and address questions and review goals.
