We are seeking volunteers to play music for hospice patients and their families at various senior living communities and private residences throughout southeast Michigan. We are looking for pianists, guitarists, violinists, ukulele players - anything!

Our hospice volunteers have shared that they find their work to be personally gratifying and meaningful, and we hope that you will share in this experience. Your musical talents will be appreciated by our patients and their families, more than you could ever know.

Volunteers will be provided with ongoing one-on-one staff support throughout their service with us, and will be invited to ongoing education opportunities, and appreciation events. Our volunteers must complete an online application, interview, background checks, orientation, fingerprinting, and TB testing.

Hospice of Michigan requires that any person who has suffered a personal loss wait a period of 12 months prior to volunteering. Thank you for considering this enriching and unique volunteer opportunity.
