Position: Senior Technical Architect 

Location: Lansing, MI

Duration: 12 Months

Short Description:

Planning related to the data and application modernization strategy for DTMB and the DNR as well as stabilization of application maintenance, enhancements and support activities.

Complete Description:

Ad hoc requests for technical architecture assistance as needed.
Active participation in planning for application modernization with DTMB and retirement of legacy Power Builder applications.
Analysis and design for upgrades and migrations of DNR systems.
Development of data architecture roadmap for the DNR.
Coordination with Enterprise Information Management (EIM) on both data strategy and enterprise IT solutions.
GIS integration strategy.
Develop technical recommendations for complying with electronic hunting and fishing licensure.
DNR wants someone to construct a data architecture schema that will be used for all new applications. They also want the resource to help with a data migration strategy so the new data schema can be associated with old data.
