Description:
Seeking a Nurse Practitioner to fill a Neonatology need.
Coverage needed due to unit being short-staffed.
The practice setting is an inpatient Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Level III).
The average number of patients per day is 10-12 per Advanced Practice Provider.
The documentation system used is Epic.
This unit has a Level I Trauma and Level III NICU designation.
Autonomy is not granted; supervision will be present during the assignment.
Procedures required include delivery room attendance, neonatal resuscitation, PICC line placement, umbilical line placement, needle aspiration, and chest tube placement.
Patient demographic primarily consists of neonates.
