We’re seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team and provide heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services across MGB Services’ portfolio of senior living communities.

Role Overview:

We’re seeking a skilled Plumber to join our maintenance team supporting senior living properties. You’ll perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable service for residents. Your work will help maintain comfort and health standards, while ensuring compliance with plumbing codes and safety practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems including water supply lines, drainage systems, fixtures (toilets, sinks, faucets), water heaters, and related equipment.

  • Diagnose and repair leaks, clogs, or other plumbing malfunctions promptly and effectively.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, building plans, and plumbing schematics to plan jobs.

  • Cut, thread, bend, and join pipes using appropriate tools and materials.

  • Replace worn or damaged plumbing fixtures, valves, pipes, gaskets, etc.

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to avoid plumbing failures.

  • Respond to emergency plumbing issues in the properties (e.g. burst pipes, flooding) in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, inspections, and maintenance history.

  • Ensure all plumbing work meets local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.

  • Keep work areas clean and safe; adhere to company and OSHA safety standards.

  • Coordinate with maintenance and project teams for renovations or upgrades.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Valid plumbing license or certification (e.g., Journeyman Plumber or equivalent) or ability to obtain.

  • Proven experience (typically 2-5 years) in plumbing work – installation, repair, and maintenance.

  • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, materials, tools, and safety practices.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical plans, blueprints, diagrams.

  • Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail.

  • Physical ability: standing, bending, kneeling, lifting, working in tight or confined spaces.

  • Valid driver’s license preferred.
