Position Overview


We are looking for a motivated and well-organized Sales & Logistics Coordinator to join our team at our Houston warehouse and sales office.


This position will support our sales and logistics operations, with primary responsibility for coordinating import shipments, preparing shipping and sales documentation, tracking incoming containers, working with customs brokers and transportation providers, and supporting shipments for key customer accounts.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in shipping, logistics, import/export operations, or a similar coordination role and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment involving customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and trucking companies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track import shipments from overseas suppliers to the U.S.
  • Maintain shipment schedules and monitor containers from origin through arrival and final delivery.
  • Prepare and review shipping and import-related documentation.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers/clearing agents for timely customs clearance of imported shipments.
  • Work with freight forwarders, drayage providers, trucking companies, and other logistics service providers.
  • Schedule and book pickups and deliveries for customer orders.
  • Prepare customer invoices and other sales and shipment-related documents.
  • Maintain accurate shipment records and provide regular status updates to the sales and operations teams.
  • Coordinate shipments and order fulfillment for assigned key customer accounts.
  • Communicate with customers regarding shipment schedules, pickups, deliveries, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate internally with the warehouse and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Assist with other sales administration and logistics activities as required.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in shipping, logistics, import/export, freight forwarding, or supply-chain coordination is preferred.
  • Experience handling international import/export shipments and related documentation is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with customs clearance, ocean freight, container tracking, drayage, and trucking operations is preferred.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling shipping documents, invoices, and customer orders.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working with customers, transportation providers, customs brokers, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with ERP/SAP or similar business systems is an advantage.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred, as the position may involve communication with customers and business partners in Latin America.

This is a full-time, on-site position based at our warehouse and sales office located at:

1301 Hays St.
Houston, TX 77009

Regular working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day shipping and logistics activities. The successful candidate should be able to follow shipments closely, proactively address delays or documentation issues, and communicate effectively with customers and logistics partners.


Experience in an industrial, distribution, manufacturing, wire rope, lifting, or related B2B environment would be an additional advantage.
