As a Physician Assistant at Metro Line Medical Group, you will work in an onsite hospital setting that emphasizes teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with an integrated primary care team consisting of physicians, nurses, care coordinators, and behavioral health professionals. • Deliver comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, addressing their diverse healthcare needs.
• Manage both acute and chronic medical conditions with efficiency, including wellness visits and preventive screenings aimed at optimizing patient health.
• Perform various minor procedures and actively interpret laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic tests to inform care decisions.
• Create personalized care plans based on thorough assessments, educating patients about health goals, chronic disease management strategies, and lifestyle modifications.
• Engage in daily collaborations with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and enhance service delivery.
• Utilize cutting-edge electronic medical record (EMR) systems to streamline documentation processes and focus on improving patient outcomes.

In this role, you will provide care to a diverse patient population within the Jacksonville community, ranging from children to seniors. Your ability to connect with and understand the unique needs of each patient will be essential as you work to promote positive health outcomes. You will be instrumental in coordinating health programs designed to address both immediate healthcare needs and long-term wellness strategies.

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program, holding a valid Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) credential.
• Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required.
• Eligible or current licensure in Florida, with the ability to maintain active status for practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, necessary for effective patient interaction and team collaboration.
• Capability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team-oriented environment.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant is required, preferably in inpatient, hospital, or acute care settings.
