Job description

An established CPA firm is seeking an accountant with public accounting experience.

While providing professional services to Individuals, S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships, Estates, Trusts and Pension Plans, we are dedicated to providing expert advice to the entrepreneurial minded clientele.

To be considered as a candidate for this position you must possess A MINIMUM of 2 years of Public Accounting experience preparing complex tax returns for high net worth individuals as well as business entities and flow-through entities. Preference will be given to individuals with experience in project management and/or tax accounting management.

Other qualifications and knowledge requirements include:

4 Year Degree in Accounting or Finance, Masters degree preferred
Strong knowledge of tax compliance and ability to provide advisory services for all types of client entities
Strong computer and research skills, including experience with Quickbooks, Thomson Reuters software and Microsoft Office software
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients
Strong communication skills
Self-motivation, flexibility and an internal drive to meet deadlines
Ability to effectively and efficiently manage a team of tax professionals
A positive and professional attitude
A desire to learn and grow professionally
