Site Quality Assistant

 Job Location: US-NV, Las Vegas

Position Type: Regular Full-time, On-Site

Reports to: Site Quality Manager

About Metro Logics, Inc.

Metro Logics, Inc. (Metro) is a privately owned medical logistics service company located in Las Vegas, NV, with additional facilities in Mississippi and Utah. We provide temperature-sensitive storage, warehousing, and rapid distribution services for perishable foods, pharmaceutical products, and medical devices and supplies. Metro manages highly regulated, temperature-controlled, and cGMP-compliant warehouse space.

About the role

The Site Quality Assistant is responsible for supporting quality systems, compliance programs, and cross-functional administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to grow in a career in Quality Assurance or Compliance within a regulated industry. The Site Quality Assistant will assist with documentation review, investigations, training, audits, reporting, and general site administrative support to help maintain compliance and efficient daily operations. Occasional out-of-town travel is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support daily site quality systems and compliance activities.
  • Review and maintain quality records, including incidents, deviations, change controls, and risk assessments.
  • Assist with document control, SOP revisions, and record retention.
  • Partner with Operations, Inventory, Maintenance, and IT teams to improve processes and maintain compliance.
  • Review maintenance, temperature monitoring, and inventory documentation as required.
  • Assist with employee training records and help coordinate training activities.
  • Participate in internal audits and support customer or regulatory audits.
  • Help ensure compliance with cGMP, GDP, company procedures, and quality standards.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Provide administrative support to site leadership and departmental managers as needed.
  • Assist site in maintaining visitor kiosk and log activities.

Qualifications and Relevant Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Compliance, Administrative Support, Manufacturing, Warehouse Operations, Logistics, or other regulated industries. Equivalent college-level coursework or internship will be considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with cGMP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), FDA-regulated environments, or ISO standards.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, food, cold-chain, logistics, or office administration environments is beneficial but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn internal systems.
  • Other industry certifications, such as Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or similar, are preferred.

Physical Demands

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear. 
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

Additional Qualifying Factors

Must have a satisfactory background screening, negative drug test, positive references and proof of identity and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.
