Job description

About Platinum Sound and Vision Corp. Platinum Sound and Vision Corp. is a full-service low voltage integration company serving Long Island and the five boroughs of New York City. We specialize in AV systems, structured cabling, networking, surveillance, and smart technology solutions for residential and commercial clients — new construction and retrofit.

The Opportunity We are looking for a self-motivated, results-driven Business Development Representative to grow our client base. This is a 100% commission-based role — meaning your earning potential is directly tied to your hustle and your network. The right candidate will thrive in an uncapped commission environment and understands how to open doors in the construction, design, and technology space.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect and cold outreach to architects, general contractors, IT professionals, interior designers, developers, builders, and homeowners
  • Build and nurture relationships that convert into long-term recurring project referrals
  • Represent Platinum Sound and Vision in meetings, walkthroughs, and networking events
  • Work closely with our internal team to hand off leads and coordinate proposals
  • Track outreach activity and pipeline using provided tools
  • Identify new market opportunities and verticals

What We're Looking For

  • Prior experience in sales, business development, or account management
  • Industry experience in AV, low voltage, construction, or technology integration strongly preferred
  • Existing relationships with GCs, architects, developers, or designers is a major plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-starter who doesn't need to be managed day-to-day
  • Professional presentation and ability to represent our brand credibly
  • Familiarity with the New York metro construction and real estate market

Compensation

  • 100% commission — percentage of project revenue on every deal you bring in
  • No cap on earnings
  • Flexible schedule — work on your own time, from anywhere
  • Opportunity to grow into a formal sales leadership role as the company expands

Company Description

Platinum Sound and Vision Corp. is a boutique low voltage integration firm based in Huntington, NY, serving Long Island and the five boroughs of New York City. We specialize in audio/visual systems, structured cabling, networking, surveillance, and smart technology solutions for both residential and commercial clients — across new construction and existing spaces.
As a small, focused team, we operate with the professionalism and reliability of a much larger company while maintaining the flexibility and personal touch that big firms simply can't offer. We work alongside general contractors, architects, developers, and homeowners to deliver technology solutions that are clean, functional, and built to last.
We're growing — and we're looking for people who want to grow with us.
