Litho Project Manager position


Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Estimating jobs in Pace software from client provided specifications.
  • Creating job tickets and layouts in Pace and Metrix software and confirming all job specifications are accurate prior to production.
  • Negotiating paper pricing and purchasing paper for jobs.
  • Sourcing outside purchases, writing purchase orders for outside purchases, and managing outside purchases.
  • Problem solving when issues arise to solve them quickly and effectively while keeping costs to a minimum.
  • Communicating professionally and clearly with sales and clients to update them on job status.
  • Communicating with various production departments to give and receive updates on job status.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment while keeping up with all job responsibilities.

Requirements for this position include:

  • Ability to type 40+ wpm.
  • Five or more years’ experience as a CSR or Project Manager handling sheetfed litho work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of sheetfed litho printing and finishing.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and plan your workload to accomplish your responsibilities as efficiently as possible.
  • Strong attention to detail to minimize mistakes and down-time.
  • Ability to stay focused and on task in a busy environment.
