Under direction of the Area Coordinator and Assistant Area Coordinator, the Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for all facets of the California Military Department (CMD) facilities maintenance and minor Sustainment, Rehabilitation, and Modernization (SRM) projects within six counties that cover: Fresno, Madera, Merced, Kern, Kings, San Luis Obispo and Tulare Counties.
Effective July 1, 2025, specific Bargaining Units and associated Excluded State employees are subject to a salary reduction between 2% - 4.62% in exchange for Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) hours each month.
