Are you passionate about early childhood education and ready to make a meaningful impact? Join our dynamic team at the Curtis Center, a top-tier early learning program within Methodist Home for Children, where we prepare children to be kindergarten-ready- socially, behaviorally, and academically.

Position: Teacher Assistant
Location: Curtis Center – Methodist Home for Children
Schedule: Full-time Monday - Friday
Compensation: Based on experience

What You’ll Do:

  • Support classroom activities that promote a child-centered, engaging learning environment

  • Work alongside dedicated educators to meet high standards of care and education

  • Maintain compliance with child development regulations and safety guidelines

  • Communicate effectively with the team to support each child’s growth

  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities

What You Bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • At least 1 year of experience working with young children (preferably in a childcare center)

  • Ability to pass background checks including DCDEE screening and fingerprinting
