Metallurgist - technical lead
Requirements:
  • Create new heat treat processes and procedures.
  • Give technical direction to production.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications.
  • Verify current processes.
  • Trouble shoot equipment.
  • Determine failure modes in parts and processes.
  • Customer service.
  • Management of the metallurgical laboratory and direct reports
  • Oversee completion of Metallurgical PPAP procedure.
  • Assist with customer and regulatory audits (AS9100, Nadcap)
  • Research technologies that apply to provide continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Communicate well with teammates and customers
  • Comply with company safety and quality requirements
  • Be comfortable giving technical direction to production personnel.
  • Have commercial heat treat knowledge and experience.
  • Have 3-5 years of customer service experience.
