Job description

Summary of Job:

Lays out, assembles, installs all areas of residential HVAC installations including any ductwork, setting, and starting up split and package systems. Gas piping, venting and electrical as well.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) years of field experience
  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • EPA certified to handle refrigerant

Skills and Abilities:

  • Can effectively train team members the trade and the Lee Company way; a role model to the group
  • Can diagnose electrical and refrigeration issues and fix them on startup
  • Can design any ductwork layout and install, this includes installing square duct or odd transitions needed
  • Can install any system including zoned, dual fuel, geothermal, magic packs, gas or heat pump, and any accessories
  • Able to pull and install standard electrical wire circuits for above
  • Knowledge of required duct sizing for supply and returns for 1.5 to 5-ton units
  • Able to effectively braze all sizes of copper
  • Ability to do metal fabrication
  • Basic computer knowledge
