This role involves cutting, welding, assembling, and installing metal materials to create products such as structural steel, beams, columns, and other metal-based components. The fabricator works closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs are accurately followed and the finished products meet all safety and quality standards.  This role also requires a dedicated individual with a strong work ethic, technical proficiency, and a commitment to customer satisfaction and safety.Essential Job Duties:Metal Fabrication: Cut, shape, and assemble metal materials, including steel, aluminum, and other metals, according to blueprints or technical drawings. Welding and Joining:  Perform various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Arc, etc.) to join metal pieces and ensure structural integrity. Blueprint Interpretation:  Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to fabricate components correctly. Assembly:  Assemble and install prefabricated metal parts, including frames, supports, or systems, in construction or industrial settings. Quality Control:  Ensure all fabricated metal parts meet design specifications and quality standards through inspections and testing.Machine Operation:Operate and maintain machinery such as shears, presses, and bending machines to form metal components. Tool Maintenance:Regularly inspect and maintain hand tools and power tools to ensure safe and efficient operationSafety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear to prevent accidents and injuriesCollaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to meet project timelines and specifications.
