Job description

MUST BE LOCAL TO MIDLAND, TX

McCorvey Sheet Metal is a family-owned and operated company located in Irving, TX. McCorvey Sheet Metal works primarily on larger projects such as hospitals, research labs, sports stadiums, schools and many other vertical markets. We are seeking highly qualified skilled commercial Sheet Metal Journeyman to join our team! Immediate availability and room for growth. If you have experience with assembling and installing sheet metal duct work, we want you to join the McCorvey team.

Requirements:
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen, background, and physical
  • Must have at least 4 years' experience working with HVAC Sheet Metal (Duct Work) – working on large commercial projects
  • Read, understand, and analyze blueprints and specifications
  • Layout hangers utilizing dimensions or with a Trimble unit
  • Full knowledge of ductwork, duct systems, water gauges, and different materials used
  • Have all the necessary tools to perform your duties
  • Knowledge of construction safety protocol and procedures
  • Must be local to Midland, TX

Duties – Including but not limited to:

  • Work with fellow employees with a respectful and tolerant attitude
  • Work necessary hours to hit mandatory deadlines
  • Communicate with Foreman and superiors daily to ensure the job is on schedule
  • Attend onsite safety meeting
  • Install the highest quality product
  • Represent McCorvey in a professional manner
