We are seeking a Data Warehouse Architect to join our team. This role will involve architecting, modeling, and supporting large-scale enterprise data warehouse environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Teradata architecture, data modeling, cloud data integration, and Erwin Model Mart—along with a strong passion for modern data engineering and scalable data solutions.


Job Title: Data Warehouse Architect 5
Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid – On-site 2 days/week; Local candidates within 2 hours only)
Duration: 1 Year Contract (with possible extension)
Job Description:

The Data Warehouse Architect will support enterprise data initiatives by designing, enhancing, and maintaining large-scale data warehouse solutions. This position will require close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data integrity, streamlined architecture, and optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead data modeling and architectural design for large enterprise data warehouse environments.
  • Work extensively with Teradata database systems, including performance optimization and architecture enhancements.
  • Utilize Erwin Model Mart for enterprise-level data modeling, documentation, and schema management.
  • Integrate Teradata platforms with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Ensure best practices in data governance, metadata management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to support new initiatives and improve existing workflows.
  • Participate in virtual interviews; vendor must be present for initial verification.

Top Skills & Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data modeling for enterprise-scale data warehousing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Teradata architecture and development.
