Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a remote Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support a large-scale system modernization and legacy platform retirement initiative. This role will focus on maintaining and optimizing legacy systems while assisting with cloud migration efforts and ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support legacy platforms and cloud-based infrastructure during modernization efforts
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents
* Perform change validations, alerting, automation, and operational support
* Manage observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
* Audit environments, maintain runbooks, and improve operational processes
* Collaborate with engineering teams on cloud migrations and system reliability initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
* 6+ years experience as an Site Reliability/Devops Engineer
* Expertise in Google Cloud Platform
* Experience with Bigquery
* Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting (Grafana preferred)
* Experience with Incident response/support
* Strong experience with Automation
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
