Job description

About us:
Working at Tech Holding isn't just a job, it's an opportunity to be a part of something bigger. We are a full-service consulting firm that was founded on the premise of delivering predictable outcomes and high-quality solutions to our clients. Our founders and team members have industry experience and have held senior positions in a wide variety of companies - from emerging startups to large Fortune 50 firms - and we have taken our combined experiences and developed a unique approach that is supported by the principles of deep expertise, integrity, transparency, and dependability.
The Role:
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer, for a project-based assignment, to join cross-functional product squads and contribute end-to-end across the application stack. This role requires strong experience building scalable backend services, modern frontend applications, and cloud-native solutions while collaborating directly with client stakeholders and engineering teams. You will work across the full software development lifecycle, from database schema design and API development through React UI implementation and production deployment. The ideal candidate is comfortable taking ownership of features from concept to delivery and thrives in fast-paced environments focused on execution and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Own full-stack feature delivery from schema design and API implementation through React UI and deployment
  • Design and build scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs, with a focus on clarity, performance, and developer ergonomics
  • Architect and integrate Azure-hosted services including Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Azure AI, and Azure DevOps pipelines
  • Embed AI capabilities into products wrapping LLM APIs, building prompt pipelines, and integrating Azure OpenAI or Cognitive Services into features
  • Use AI tools actively in your daily workflow: generation, debugging, test coverage, and documentation not as a crutch but as a force multiplier
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning with engineering teams and client stakeholders
  • Instrument, monitor, and optimize performance across the stack from slow queries to front-end bundle bloat
  • Contribute to raising the engineering bar: documentation, tooling, shared patterns, and mentoring less senior teammates
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of professional full-stack experience with Node.js and React (or Next.js)
  • Strong TypeScript fluency you reach for it by default
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (Functions, App Service, Blob Storage, DevOps, or similar)
  • Solid relational database skills: schema design, query optimization, indexing (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Experience designing clean REST or GraphQL APIs and knowing when to choose each
  • Demonstrated, active use of AI tools in your engineering workflow you can speak concretely about how and where they help
  • Familiarity with auth patterns: JWT, OAuth 2.0, session handling
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar)
  • Excellent async written communication in English you can explain a technical decision clearly in a Slack thread or a doc
Nice to have:
  • Experience building with Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search, or Cognitive Services
  • Next.js, React Server Components, or micro-frontend experience
  • Familiarity with LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or prompt engineering patterns
  • Message queue experience: Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, or SQS
  • Kubernetes or infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi)
  • Prior consulting or client-facing engineering experience

Employment Type:
  • Contract
