We’re looking for a Senior Audit amp; Compliance Specialist who brings a sharp eye for detail, a strong sense of integrity, and a passion for helping the credit union operate safely, compliantly, and effectively.
The Senior Audit and Compliance Specialist is responsible for executing risk-based operational and compliance audits, supporting enterprise risk assessments, and helping ensure regulatory compliance across the credit union. This role also reviews and approves marketing materials for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Serving as a key contributor to a strong control environment, this position independently validates processes, identifies risks, and supports corrective action efforts.

Requirements:
Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in internal audit, compliance, or risk management within a financial institution
Education/Certifications/Licenses
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equal experience in this field.
  • Active certification as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Bank Secrecy Act Professional (CBSAP)
  • Credit Union Compliance Expert (CUCE), or Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM).
  • Willingness to obtain a relevant certification within 12–18 months if not currently certified
This position is an onsite position located in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Pay Information:
Starting Range: $27.42/hr. - $34.27/hr.
Full Range: $27.42/hr. - $41.12/hr.
