Job description

SUMMARY

Responsible for defining and managing the logistics of material and inventory during the project.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Monitor and read reports pertaining to Packing Lists and their delivery dates.
  • Track and Report KPIs monthly.
  • Use email to communicate information that can be easily forwarded to senior leaders.
  • Create formal word documents that can be distributed to customers, leaders, teams.
  • Create complex schedules, tables and other documents using formulas and formatting.
  • Be able to create move-in schedule and merge it with the project schedule.
  • Participate in pre-project reviews and identify issues.
  • Monitor team conformance to protocols and prevent issues from occurring.
  • Reinforce compliance proactively so no team members violate the policy.
  • Recognize parts by Part Number or description.
  • Proactively solve issues with tracking and information flow.
  • Recognize issues with part delivery and come up with solution/suggestion.
  • Directing and coordinating activity order cycle.
  • Deliver on Action Requirements and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Manage materials movements between the company and the customer.
  • Manage materials movements between Projects.
  • Optimizing move-in Fulfillment.
  • Work with other projects directly to share available resources to stay on schedule.
  • Be able to extract data and use it for KPIs.
  • Predict spares required over a project's lifetime.
  • Proactive material management

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of experience in logistics and/or installations, some college preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, and analyze technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

OTHER SKILLS

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, strong organizational and management skills
  • Knowledge of logistics and installation sequence
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
