Job description

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities
  • Serve as content manager/knowledge expert for islatravir/lenacapavir and support materials across the HIV treatment portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Director to develop Global Plan of Action and align team activities.
  • Work with Clinical Development, Global Strategic Marketing, Global Value & Access, Medical Affairs Research, affiliates and Merck Medical Affairs; support strategic plan implementation, scientific resource development, conference activities, and internal training.
  • Manage creation/review/updating of Medical Affairs slide decks, infographics, medical narratives, and other strategic resources.
  • Provide therapeutic‑area training and create/review Medical Affairs training materials.
  • Attend major global scientific conferences; support conference deck development and training.
  • Independently manage projects analyzing new/emerging data and incorporate relevant information into medical content and trainings.
  • Develop and maintain an HIV SharePoint page to disseminate resources.
  • Support HIV Medical Affairs Advisory Programs as needed.
  • Manage projects to completion, resolving obstacles collaboratively.
Basic Qualifications
  • 6+ years with BS/BA
  • 4+ years with MS/MA
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced scientific degree (MD/DO/PharmD/PhD or equivalent) with HIV clinical experience
  • 1–3 years pharmaceutical industry experience (ideally Medical Affairs)
  • Strong written/verbal communication; PowerPoint experience
  • Ability to synthesize findings and make actionable recommendations
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, fast‑paced, multi‑project management
  • Autonomy/independence; travel ~5%

Compensation/Benefits
  • Salary range: $146,540.00–$189,640.00; may be eligible for discretionary bonus/stock incentives, paid time off, and company‑sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
