We are the Proteomic Sciences division (former Olink Proteomics). Our solutions are transforming the understanding of human diseases through advanced protein biomarker discovery. With our innovative Olink solutions – including highly specific and validated assays that cover more than 5,000 proteins – our colleagues and technology empower scientists in groundbreaking research that will play a pivotal role in the future of personalized medicine.
 

Position Description

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our Olink NPX team as part of our Software Development department at our HQ in Uppsala. Our Software Developers work in agile teams and across the stack to build innovative, high-quality applications.

As a Software Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our software solutions. Working closely with fellow developers, data scientists, Product Owners, and other stakeholders, you will help deliver reliable applications that support cutting-edge scientific research. You will take ownership of your work, continuously develop your technical skills, and contribute to the success of the team.

Our NPX software platforms provide data analysis capabilities and processing pipelines supporting our Olink products. They are used by customers worldwide to generate and quality control proteomics data produced in laboratories and are an integral part of groundbreaking medical research.
 

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and maintain our NPX software with a strong focus on quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with developers, data scientists, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to deliver customer value.
  • Participate in technical discussions and contribute to software design and implementation.
  • Translate functional requirements into well-structured, maintainable code.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and continuously improve code quality and development practices.
  • Work across the technology stack as needed.
  • Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and domain knowledge.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in software development.
  • Experience with C#/.NET and familiarity with a frontend framework (we use Avalonia UI).
  • Experience with modern software development practices, including Git, automated testing, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and Swedish is a must.
  • Knowledge of biological sciences and bioinformatics is a plus.
