This position is on a base annual salary + commission plan. Base Salary is dependent on experience.
DCG ONE is one of the largest privately held marketing service providers in the country. Based in Seattle, with locations in NYC and Maryland, we help companies deliver their brand worldwide through creative, print, and fulfillment services.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Branded Merchandise Account Executive, you will identify potential clients, understand their merchandise, related projects, and logistical needs, and introduce them to our array of solutions and offerings. You will work closely with internal team members across all disciplines (Account Management, Creative, PM, Development, Strategy) to help shape and create project definition and scopes of work. And throughout projects you've helped bring in, you will stay in touch with the team and clients to help further grow net new opportunities and trust in DCG ONE.
This position is hybrid, with the expectation of working from the Seattle, WA, or Upper Marlboro, MD office three days per week (unless otherwise approved) if located in either area. Remote work may be considered for the right candidate; however, this may vary depending on state employment laws and the ability to support remote work in specific states.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets that will be reviewed on a quarterly basis.
  • Proactively identifies and pursues new business opportunities within both established DCG ONE clients as well as outside enterprise-level clients for cold prospecting.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and identify potential leads.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their marketing objectives.
  • Negotiate projects and program work SOWs with the aim of achieving optimal terms.
  • Work closely with the creative, account management, and technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and align with client expectations.
  • Generate monthly prospect and sales reports for agency management, highlighting revenue, potential sales pipelines, and client feedback.
  • Represent the agency at agency events, conferences, and workshops for networking and business development.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3-5+ years sales experience working in a branded merchandise distributorship, creative agency, or digital/software company setting
  • Demonstrated experience in exceeding sales quotas ($2mm+ annually), selling programmatic business
  • Comprehensive understanding of branded merchandise sales and project management processes.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence potential clients.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales optimization software (HubSpot experience a plus), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed in a competitive environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to meet business objectives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Digital Media, Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • May be required to complete and pass a Public Trust Security Clearance.

TRAVEL
  • This position may require some travel to client meetings.
  • This position is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
