Job description

Bold Metrics is the leading fit and sizing solution on the market today for the world's top retailers and brands. We are a venture-backed startup that is making a big impact on the environment, forever changing the landscape of eCommerce. We are a remote-first company that is full of inspiring and friendly people.

We are currently searching for an Account Executive to join our growing team. This position is for someone located in the United States or Canada and working remotely. In this role you will own relationships with some of the most recognizable names in apparel and help define how a category that has always guessed at fit starts using real body data instead.

About You:

You are a humble, passionate, and experienced seller who wants to own a full sales cycle rather than a slice of one. You'll run everything from first outreach through discovery, business case, negotiation and contracting - building relationships with eCommerce, digital, merchandising and finance leaders at brands you already know by name.

This is a consultative sale. Most of the brands you talk to know they have a returns problem; far fewer know that fit data is a solvable one. Your job is to become genuinely fluent in what our technology does, then translate that into the language your buyer's business runs on: conversion, returns, margin, and the customer experience. The AEs who do well here are the ones who can build a credible ROI case and defend the assumptions inside it.

You are an out-of-the-box problem solver who is comfortable building the road while driving on it. You'll create your own outbound motion, work with Marketing to sharpen how we reach the market, partner with technology and agency partners where it helps both sides, and bring what you learn in the field back to our Product team. You've scaled your own workflows with AI and can show us how. You're organized enough to run multiple opportunities at different stages without dropping any of them, and honest enough to tell us early when a deal isn't real.

Above all, you care about the work. We're a small team solving a problem that costs the apparel industry billions and the planet more than that, and we're looking for someone who finds that as interesting as we do.

What you'll get to do:

  • The Account Executive position is a quota-carrying position; you will own the full sales cycle from building relationships with key stakeholders to negotiation and contracting
  • Gain and possess a comprehensive understanding of Bold Metrics' technology and solutions, and connect this knowledge directly to customer ROI
  • Help develop strategies and coordinate cross-functional support to help customers maximize the value from Bold Metrics suite of solutions
  • Take a consultative approach to solving problems for brands in the apparel industry
  • Work with Marketing to develop new outreach and acquisition strategies
  • Collaborate with tech partners and agencies to drive value on both sides
  • Constantly collect data to track and improve on all steps in the funnel, identifying bottlenecks and improving funnel metrics
  • Share customer insights with Product team

What we expect you've already done:

  • At least 3 years of SaaS sales experience, ideally in the ecommerce space
  • You have a history of exceeding revenue goals throughout your career
  • You have extensive experience selling to to multiple personas at VP and C-Level
  • Set up processes and levers that allow you to achieve your goals
  • Proven results due to scaling processes and workflows with AI
  • If you have experience working at or with apparel brands, that is a huge benefit for this role
  • B.A. or B.S. degree required

The kind of people we look for:

  • Passion for our products and technology.
  • Commitment to fast learning and developing expertise in your area
  • Strong Organizational and project management skills
  • Innate problem solvers who want to grow in a flexible, collaborative culture
  • Exceptional communicator, both orally and in writing
  • Experienced in prioritizing, planning and organizing tasks and activities to ensure timely completion of job responsibilities while handling multiple tasks, changing priorities and non-negotiable deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction
  • Ability to work non-standard work hours when necessary
  • Flexibility to work from home

About Us:

Bold Metrics is a SaaS solution for retailers and brands to reduce returns, improve sustainability and supercharge their supply chain from the ground up. Using a comprehensive set of machine learning and AI technologies to accurately capture customer body measurements, we help apparel brands unlock the power of body data to meet the demands of today's increasingly personalized world.
