About the Role:
Join Willis Furniture Company as a Merchandising Manager and play a key role in shaping our product offerings! This exciting position allows you to combine your passion for design and retail to enhance our customers' shopping experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Analyze market trends and customer preferences to inform product selection.
  • Collaborate with ownership/management to curate showroom displays and promotions.
  • Oversee visual merchandising to ensure an appealing store presentation.
  • Create, process, and monitor special orders. Review special orders with sales staff to ensure accuracy prior to processing.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with ownership for timely stock replenishment.
  • Train and inform sales staff on vendor related updates ie. pricing, lead times, new product lines. 
  • Prepare reports on product sales and merchandising initiatives for management review.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in retail merchandising or procurement preferred.
  • Proven track record of driving sales through effective merchandising strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in merchandising software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
