The role requires collaboration and ownership with senior leadership to establish business objectives, optimize processes and priorities to achieve those objectives, and foster continuous improvement across the entire team. Strong leadership and business acumen are essential to advance merchandising execution and support organizational goals effectively.

The team is dedicated to advancing Walmart’s mission to democratize fashion across the US by ensuring optimal inventory placement through stores and fulfillment centers. Collaborating closely with merchant partners, design, product development, and sourcing, the team delivers a superior customer value proposition. They focus on flawless execution of replenishment strategies aligned with financial objectives. By leveraging strong leadership, business strategies, merchandising expertise, operational performance management, the team drives impactful decision making that enhance inventory planning, operational efficiency, and overall business performance.
What you'll do:
  • Lead a high-performing team to execute replenishment strategies and planning processes that support strategic outcomes and growth.
  • Lead in leveraging AI where applicable to improve speed to decisions while enhancing insights and actions thru data.
  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies while working cross-functionally (with partners inside of and outside of merchandising, as needed)
  • Provide strategic guidance on business objectives to ensure execution achieves intended outcomes; including leading transformational initiatives + cross-functional teams..
  • Drive execution of business plans by removing obstacles, allocating resources, and adjusting performance standards.
  • Cultivate talent through recruitment, development, and succession planning to maintain a skilled workforce.
