Description

Summary: Execute merchandising plans and work order instructions in assigned stores. Assist in all facets of maximizing Great Bay's presentation and sales to consumers at retail.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Attendance and Punctuality are critical. Merchandisers must report to work as scheduled and be prepared to work until the assignment is complete

While on duty and in uniform, Merchandisers represent Anheuser-Busch and Great Bay. They must relate well with retail customers and the public

Merchandise and stock all coolers, displays, end caps or any area of the store where our product is located. Build, merchandise, and maintain promotional displays (i.e. remove all cartons from shell, cut cases, display P.O.S., post prices etc.)

Rotate all products according to Great Bay and Anheuser-Busch standards

Monitor Great Bay's and competitive activity on a daily basis and report accurate information on designated forms

Perform Structured Merchandising Call completely at each assigned stop.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • counting truck loads
  • unloading product from trucks
  • stacking and loading product on hand trucks/breakdowns
  • pushing/pulling loaded hand trucks/breakdowns into retail accounts from parking lots
  • checking in product
  • navigating hand trucks/breakdowns inside customer locations
  • affixing price stickers to products
  • filling all retail slots and displays with product in proper rotation
  • neatly stocking product in customers' back stock storage
  • discarding any and all trash, flats and cartons
  • accurately count and check in any payments for product delivered
  • Compliance with all Equal Employment Opportunity rules and guidelines
  • Ability to cooperate with others in order to complete required job tasks
  • Ability to appear at work as scheduled, mindful of the company's attendance policies

Requirements

Knowledge/Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to fill out work orders and other correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively with groups of customers.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current valid Florida Drivers' License which complies with our insurance carriers' guidelines for an acceptable, insured driver.


Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, climb or balance. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must constantly lift and/or move 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 171 pounds. The employee must occasionally pull and/or push up to 1,500 pounds on a loaded 2/4 wheel hand truck on uneven surfaces and up delivery ramps.
