Job description

The Assistant Digital Merchandiser for Ecommerce supports the strategy and day-to-day execution of Nuuly's growing e-commerce channels, including Thrift and Shops. You'll work closely with the Digital Merch Manager to bring shop launches, thematic curations, and Thrift events to life on-site — ensuring product is merchandised in a way that's discoverable, contextually relevant, and conversion-driven. This role requires a sharp eye for product storytelling, a curiosity for data, and enthusiasm for the evolving resale and ecommerce landscape.

  • Shop & Thrift Execution: Support the buildout and maintenance of Shops and Thrift experiences on-site, including curations, product associations, navigation, and listing flow optimization. Ensure new and pre-loved products are merchandised contextually and compellingly.

  • Launch Support: Partner with Web Producers to ensure timely, accurate execution of shop launches, Thrift events, and seasonal campaigns. Conduct pre-launch QA to catch and resolve issues before go-live.

  • Editorial & Content Support: Assist in briefing Brand Creative and Marketing teams on product needs for Shops and Thrift campaigns. Support merchandising of editorial content across the Nuuly website, app, and external marketing channels.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Interpret site performance data and customer behavior signals to surface opportunities for optimization. Support the Associate DM in building reports and presenting performance recaps.

  • Catalog & Attribute Support: Apply and audit product attributes to support filtering, search, and discoverability across ecomm inventory — with attention to the nuances of new vs. resale product merchandising.

  • Competitive Awareness: Stay current on resale, ecomm, and shop-in-shop trends and surface relevant recommendations for the Nuuly experience.

  • 1 to 2+ years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, web production, or a related role; inclusive of interships.
  • Interest in resale, circular fashion, and the evolving ecommerce landscape.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with CMS and catalog management tools; willingness to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excel and Google Sheets proficiency required.
  • Strong fashion point of view with awareness of both new product and resale merchandising contexts.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working cross-functionally
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
