We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and creative Assistant Designer to support the Men’s Design team in developing elevated, design-driven collections. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in design programs, and thrives in a fast-paced environment, bringing curiosity, collaboration, and a keen eye for detail to every stage of the design process, from concept to final product.


Some of what you’ll do:


Sketching & Technical Support

  • Create and update technical sketches in Adobe Illustrator on an ongoing basis.
  • Apply colorways and update merch plan files as needed.
  • Support in maintaining accurate and current tech sketches.
  • Support in creation of handover documents for Production Development teams.


Research & Development

  • Assist in seasonal research based on design direction—fabrics, trims, silhouettes, and market trends.
  • Provide inspiration boards and research summaries to help define new concepts and ideas.
  • Assist in exploring ways to improve styles through design details, construction, and fabrication.
  • Support in Product Development & Fittings
  • Support in fittings and take detailed notes when required.
  • Maintain up-to-date information in the merch plan for fabrics, trims, and color standards.


Cross-Category Design Support

  • Help in sourcing, gathering samples, and managing vendor communications as needed
  • Knowledge of outerwear construction and components is an asset.
  • Knowledge of accessories and components is an asset.


Organization & Presentation

  • Maintain organized digital and physical files, including samples, research, and design references.
  • Prepare design presentations and visuals as directed, ensuring all content is cohesive and brand aligned.
  • Maintain organized prototype and reference samples on an ongoing basis


Some of what you’ll need:


  • 2+ years of experience
  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator; working knowledge of Photoshop preferred.
  • Strong understanding of technical sketches, specifications, and garment construction.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Knowledge of fabrics, trims, and outerwear components considered an asset.
  • Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • Bilingual
