Job Title: Patient Registration (Supervisor) 
Facility: North Memorial Health
Location: Golden Valley, MN
Duration: 13 Weeks (Temp to Perm) 
Shift: 1:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Weekends by Rotation | Occasional On-Call
Pay Rate: $32/hr (W2) | $34/hr (1099) - (No overtime/holiday multipliers)

Job Description:
North Memorial Health is seeking a Patient Registration Supervisor to oversee the night shift operations of hospital-wide registration services. This leadership position ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across patient access points while supporting Revenue Cycle and Service Excellence goals.
The Supervisor will directly manage a team of 15 union staff members, monitor Epic work queues, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator with strong team leadership experience and a thorough understanding of front-end revenue cycle functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support the daily activities of patient registration staff during night shifts.
  • Monitor Epic work queues and ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Support regulatory compliance by keeping staff informed of changes in payer or policy requirements.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop, implement, and maintain divisional policies, procedures, and training resources.
  • Analyze team performance and workflow efficiency; generate reports on key metrics.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent while ensuring optimal staff scheduling and productivity.
  • Partner with other departments to streamline front-end operations and promote service excellence.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent – Required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or related field – Preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting – Required
  • Proven front-end point of service experience in patient access or registration – Required
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills – Required
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills – Required
  • Experience working in a unionized environment – Preferred
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR – Highly Preferred
