Job description

Position Title: Timekeeping Clerk (Temp Hire)

Location: Naval Health Clinic Hawaii (NHCH), Building 1750, 480 Central Ave., JBPHH, HI 96860-4908

Office Hours: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday

Clearance Required: Secret Clearance

Salary: $24.23 per hour based on experience plus full health and welfare benefits (fringe value $4.93/hr.)

GC Associates requires a Timekeeping Clerk to provide timekeeping services for the Naval Health Clinic Hawaii.

Performance Requirements

  • Provides support to the Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System (MEPRS) and Data Quality Manager (DQM) to processes data from Military Health System Genesis, General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and Defense Medical Human Resources System - internet (DMHRSi). Consolidation of this data in Expense Allocation System version IV (EAS) and out-processes it Defense Health Agency (DHA) EAS central repository with the monthly prescribed timelines.
  • Monitors bi-weekly DMHRSi timecard submission and communicates status to command leadership and timecard approvers. Provides staff support to resolve timecard submission errors.
  • Appointed as the command's alternate MEPRS/DQM and assists in gathering data from multiple sources to complete the monthly Commander's Data Quality Statement.
  • Support Agreement Manager: Maintains support agreement library via command SharePoint and pertaining documentation, i.e. email communication and command approval correspondence.
  • Coordinates with appropriate stakeholders within command and designated organizational point of contacts for Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs), Training Affiliation Agreements (TAAs), Inter/Intra Service Agreements (ISSAs).
  • Coordinates with Financial Technicians for funding items for all reimbursable support agreements.
  • Administrative Support: Office supply ordering as needed. Maintain recall roster, daily muster, departmental training compliance.
  • Shall assist the Director for Resource Management in reviewing travel orders, tracking and liaising with upper echelon for support agreement approval, and managing quarterly risk assessment reporting.


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:

Education: High School Graduate or GED.

Experience: Must have at least one (1) year of experience. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel in particular. Accounting experience preferred

License/Certifications: Must have an active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare Providers.
