Job description

This posting is for an Event Planning Manager position at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center located in downtown Denver. The Event Planning Manager handles sales group bookings. This position works closely with the hotels Sales Managers in contract negotiations and servicing groups as it relates to event services. Primary sales efforts are in banquet food & beverage and will include menu planning, agenda setting and hotel meeting services. Duties also include contract review and facilitating communication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff and client to ensure a high level of service.
Event Planning Managers also host site inspections, maintain strong customer relationships, participate and may lead event meetings, and other staff meetings, and work as a team member with the entire hotel.
