To ensure proper order taking of all In Room Dining orders.
Responsibilities:
  • Answer all in-room dining calls promptly and professionally using proper phone etiquette
  • Accurately take guest orders, including special requests and dietary restrictions
  • Enter orders into the POS system with precision and attention to detail
  • Upsell menu items, specials, and beverages to enhance guest experience
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order deliver
  • Monitor order status and follow up to ensure quality and guest satisfaction
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens, and daily specials
  • Ensure all orders meet hotel standards and service timelines
  • Assist with administrative tasks as assigned to include order tracking and reporting
  • Complete assigned side work to include: polishing and rolling silverware, polishing glassware, amenity set up, delivering food and amenities, and set up of trays and orders

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge and understanding of food menu, wine list, and beverage menu
  • Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment
  • Be able to make quick decisions and possess good judgment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be TABC certified
  • Intermediate level Micros skills
  • Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
