Overview Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid. A leader in cutting-edge research and technology in the cyber arena, CPMG focuses on using business drivers to guide cybersecurity activities and manage risk. CPMG offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, among others, and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services. Summary: The Project Manager III serves as a senior project management lead for the Clinical Infrastructure Modernization Program Lifecycle Environment (CIMPLE), overseeing complex projects within the Compute and Storage Management Service (CSMS) and Data Center Operations (DCOPS). This role is responsible for end-to-end project delivery supporting enterprise-scale virtualization infrastructure essential to the Military Health System (MHS). Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: * Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex CIMPLE CSMS/DCOPS projects and task orders * Develop and manage integrated project schedules, risks, dependencies, and performance metrics * Coordinate with engineering teams supporting Type-1 hypervisors * Oversee the development and delivery of required documentation, including architectural designs, technical reports, RCAs, RMF artifacts, and compliance deliverables (CDRLs) * Manage system upgrade, patching, testing, and deployment efforts across pre-production and production environments * Lead risk, issue, and change management processes, including mitigation planning and impact analysis * Serve as a primary interface with government stakeholders, providing briefings, status updates, and issue resolution * Ensure project compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements, including RMF, STIGs, IAVAs, and risk acceptance processes * Mentor junior project managers and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives * Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, and aligned with mission priorities Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: * Advanced knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices * Strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, virtualization, and data center operations * Familiarity with DoD healthcare IT environments, DHA governance, and compliance frameworks * Knowledge of RMF, STIG, IAVA, and DoD cybersecurity processes * Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills * Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with complex technical dependencies Minimum Qualifications: * Must have a minimum of 7+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure or technology modernization projects * Demonstrated experience leading projects in regulated or compliance-driven environments (e.g., DoD, federal, or healthcare IT) * Experience managing projects in high availability, 24x7 operational environments * Must have a Secret security clearance Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field Pay and Benefits The annual salary range for this position is $140,000 to $180,000.
