Lake City Community Church (Lakewood, WA) - Associate Pastor
THE BIG PICTURE
Lake City Community Church (https://www.lc3.com/) is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor.
Requirements
Who we are: Lake City Community Church (LC3) is an independent, non-denominational church located in Lakewood, WA that celebrated 100 years of faithful ministry in 2023. Over the last 5 years, we have more than doubled in size; our current average weekend service attendance is almost 1900 people across two campuses. As we have grown, our needs for pastoral leadership has also grown.
This role: The full-time position is an associate pastor who would have ministry oversight, preaching and teaching, and congregational care responsibilities. This role would report directly to the Lead Pastor.
Job Responsibilities
§ Support and provide oversight for assigned ministries (likely men's ministry and women's ministry; other ministries as needed)
§ Preach and teach during weekend services or other ministry events
§ Perform baptisms, communion, weddings, and memorial services, as needed
§ Attend leadership team, pastoral team, and staff meetings
§ Counsel 1:1 or with couples and families
§ Other general pastoral duties as assigned
Education and Experienced Preferred
§ College/seminary degree required.
§ 3-10 years of experience serving as a pastor on a church staff
§ Ministry oversight experience
