The Reminiscence Supervisor provides hands-on leadership in the memory care neighborhood, supporting daily operations while delivering compassionate, resident-centered care. This working leader supervises the reminiscence team, champions the designated care manager model and ensures excellence in dementia programming and family engagement.
What You'll Do:
• Supervise and support the reminiscence team in daily care and operations
• Assist with staffing, scheduling and timekeeping oversight
• Provide direct resident care and support Life Skills programming
• Monitor resident condition changes and escalate concerns appropriately
• Support family meetings, education sessions and monthly support groups
• Assist with ISPs, daily assignments and point-of-care documentation
• Promote Resident-Centered Care and dementia-specific best practices
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and quality standards
• Partner with leadership on training, coaching and performance support
What We're Looking For:
• Experience in assisted living, long-term care or dementia care
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office & Sunrise systems)
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
